Another cry for another day!

Far away
at the edge of the earth
in the village of emptiness
people are digging graves.

An old man
cloaked in his poverty
grieved with a loss
at the bank of a river
shivering
crying
raises his hands for allaho- Akbar- God is great!

He bends over for the Ra’ku'
he stares into his abyss
his glorious past
he starts dreaming of the past
memories of past comes to his frail mind
like the rain of monsoon.

Ceaseless memories
memories of his good old days
When he was a child
and crawled
When he was a boy
and stole
when he was young
and loved
when he became a father
and blessed.

But now
nothing is left for him
except memories
he deliberately forgets the future
and the memories butts him into pieces.

He breaks down in tears
emptiness embraces him
armoured with fear
shattered with the grief
he loudly calls Allah-O- Akbar.

In a while he starts up his journey
a journey for an unknown
he cries
until he is healed
another cry for another day!
